Patricia E. Norton DMD

patty-nortonDr. Norton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physiology form Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1983. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University’s School of Dental Medicine in Alton in 1988. She was elected to the dental honor society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After graduation, she moved to Burlington, Vermont where she completed a general practice residency at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. Then, in 1990, she returned to Illinois where she was an associate dentist in Sandwich, Illinois. In November of 1991 Dr. Norton established her practice in Decatur. At that time, the office was located on Fairview Avenue. In 2002 her office relocated to 1099 West Wood Street where she practiced for 15 years. Then in 2017 she relocated to her present location at 2905 N. Main Street.

Dr. Norton enjoys providing much needed dental services for disadvantaged children through the “Give Kids a Smile” program. She, also, gives presentations to area first graders, teaching how to take care of their teeth every day. She was President of the Decatur District Dental Society from 2000 – 2001. She is a member of the Illinois State Dental Society, The American Dental Association, The Chicago Dental Society and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

In her free time, Dr. Norton enjoys gardening, reading, doing crafts, bicycling and cross-country skiing. She lives with her husband and daughter in Decatur.
