We are pleased to be able to offer several cosmetic solutions for our patients to give them a more beautiful smile. Both bonding and veneers can change the shape and color of your existing teeth.
Veneers and Bonding
Bonding is generally done in a single appointment. A small amount of enamel may need to be removed from the tooth surface and then a composite filling material is “bonded” to the surface of the tooth. It is then shaped and polished. Bonding can last several years, but can have a greater tendency to chip and stain.
Veneers are a thin piece of porcelain that is cemented over the fronts of your teeth to change the shape, color or spacing. Again, a small amount of tooth preparation is usually necessary. The veneers are fabricated in the laboratory, so this procedure will involve more than one appointment. The advantages of veneers over bonding is that they tend to last longer and have much more color stability.
Whitening
We offer different options for take-home tooth whitening. Our office will be happy to discuss them with you.
